The Licking County Citizens Alliance ("LCCA," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of everyone who visits this website or participates in our civic campaign. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what we will never do with it.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties — ever.
1. Information We Collect
This site is currently informational only — there is no petition form, newsletter signup, or donation form on the site at this time. We collect information only when you voluntarily provide it (for example, by emailing us) or when it is collected automatically as part of standard website analytics.
Analytics — we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use our site. GA4 collects:
- Pages viewed and time spent on each page
- General device type and browser
- Approximate geographic region (city-level, not precise location)
GA4 does not collect names, email addresses, or any other personally identifiable information. IP addresses are anonymized before storage.
2. How We Use Your Information
If you email us directly, we use your message and contact information only to respond to you and, where relevant, to keep you informed about the M/I Homes / Heath Hills development. We do not add you to any mailing list without your explicit request.
Analytics data is used solely to improve the website — understanding which information is most helpful to visitors and where technical issues may exist.
3. Data We Do Not Collect
We do not collect:
- Payment information of any kind
- Social Security numbers or government ID numbers
- Precise geolocation data
- Information from minors (this site is not directed at anyone under 18)
4. Cookies
This website uses cookies only for the following purpose:
- Google Analytics 4 — sets first-party analytics cookies

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels from ad networks, or third-party behavioral tracking of any kind.

5. Data Retention
Any correspondence you send us directly (for example, by email) is retained as normal business correspondence. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics default settings (26 months) and is aggregated; no individual records are retained by LCCA.
6. Data Security
This site is hosted on Cloudflare's infrastructure with HTTPS enforced throughout. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We take commercially reasonable precautions to protect your information, but cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Third-Party Services
This site uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

- Google Maps — the meeting-location map on this site is a Google Maps embed; Google may log the request. See Google Privacy Policy
We do not embed Facebook pixels, advertising trackers, or any other third-party tracking scripts on this website.

You may contact us at any time to:
- Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of correspondence you've sent us
- Ask questions about how your data is used

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes arising under this policy shall be resolved in the courts of Licking County, Ohio.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. We will not materially reduce your privacy protections without providing notice on our website.
